Appreciating Teachers

"One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child."

Oh yes, the dreaded repetition thing over and over again. Of course I can't fault the kids for loving it.. and clearly they love it, so I do it and I do it with a smile, however I have to admit, there are days when I'll just say, "how about this one instead?" referring to a different book.

Actually, what I can say now is, "why don't you read it to me! I'd love to hear it from you!" and voila, now it's 100 times better.

Thanks for the visit to my neck of the woods - come again soon.

Hi Daisy! I love it when kids tell the story...It means so much to young children when we give of our time to hear them "read". Thanks Daisy!
